Holmberg Pedestrian Bridge

The Pedestrian Bridge connects down town Chattanooga to the historic Bluff View Art District. Glass Walking Surface consists of glass panels made up of 1-1/2” thick laminated glass. One half of the bridge is opaque with a sand blasted bottom surface and the other half is clear allowing a view of the street below. Bridge is supported by a steel superstructure.

The Chattanooga Convention Center contains over 25,000 square feet of glass and incorporates standard storefronts in clear anodived finish with custom splayed mullions. The glass combines energy efficient Low-E with laminated glass for sound contol, and  ceramic frit for privacy. The entrances are medium stile doors with panic hardware. The project contains over 100 door leaves.
